What's New With Tapestry

I’m fairly certain that the Kingdom of heaven looks like hundreds of at-risk, poverty stricken students heading back to school with all the tools that they need to succeed in their new academic school year. This past saturday that’s exactly what we got to participate in.

For families living in our community a new school year can be more stressful than it is exciting. We know that they desire for their children to head into the next academic school year with all of the resources that they need to succeed. Because of the impact of our community partnerships and many generous individuals we were able to become a contributing factor in the provision of resources these parents desired and that the children needed. These photographs tell the story of our community day.

With great anticipation I cannot wait to see how these children grow and develop this year. We are partnering with their parents with an after-school program four days a week and plan to be very involved with as many neighborhood kids as we can impact.

Thank you for helping us send these at-risk students back to their classrooms with everything that they needed to further their eduction.
